Welcome to Transworkplace, a networking site for transgender workplace diversity. We welcome HR managers, diversity professionals, lawyers, transgender employees and allies, and anyone else who would like resources on these issues.
What can you do here?
NETWORK: See member photos in the left column of fhis main page. Click “View All” to see more. Click on a picture to access the profile. To add as a friend, click “Add as Friend” on the left side of their profile page. (You can send private email via their profile page to those who are your “Friends.") Also, check the easy-to-miss icon at the top left of your screen (scroll all the way to the top) to view friend requests.
DISCUSS: If you scroll down this center column, you will find the “Forum”, where you can read, reply to and create discussions on topics of interest. Click “View All” to see more discussions.
BLOG: If you scroll further down this center column, you will find member blog posts. Click “View Archives” to see more. If you would like to contribute, go to the “My Page” tab at the top of the page, and click on the “My Blog” link, and write a post. It will show up on this main page.
JOIN A GROUP: In the bottom right column of this page, you will see icons and names of groups. Click “View All” to see more. If you click on a group icon, you will see who has joined, and discussions of interest for that group.
WATCH: See “Videos” in the bottom left column of this page.
DO: See “Events” listed in the bottom left column of this main page. Click “View All” to see more. These will give you information on upcoming events of interest online and around the nation.
FIND RESOURCES: Scroll to the bottom of the center column of this page to find organizations, documents and blogs. Email me to suggest others.
