I’ve had four face clearings at Electrology 2000/3000 and, on a friend’s recommendation, tried Arizona Electrolysis in Phoenix last week. They also do anesthetic injections, both on face and pre-op GRS areas (Toby Meltzer is also in Phoenix area as you know). The URL is http://www.arizonaelectrolysis.com/.
I wanted to let you know that the multiple small-needle lidocaine injection process used by Arizona Electrolysis results in MUCH less post-treatment swelling, and I mean MUCH less. The staff there is super caring and dedicated to the trans community, even arranged my hotel for me at a discount corporate rate. Maria DeNicola is the owner, she’s the one who did Donna Rose’s work and is mentioned in her book.
It’s always nice to have choices, and in my experience with accessibility, rates and skill being comparable, I would recommend AZ Electrolysis for quality of treatment and especially faster recovery thru less swelling trauma.
