Atlantic Monthly and NPR discuss transgender youth

From NPR:

In the November issue of The Atlantic Monthly, Hanna Rosin writes about a young boy who, from an early age, challenged his gender identity. In her article, “A Boy’s Life,” she discusses the complicated realities parents must face when children feel trapped in the wrong bodies.

Tina Simms, (a pseudonym), the mother of the child in Rosin’s article, talked to NPR about how she raised her affirmed female child.
